Michael Alcantara was born in Vancouver and has spent his life all around the Lower Mainland. Having lived in seven neighbourhoods between Vancouver and Coquitlam, he understands the unique character of Greater Vancouver’s many different areas, and has witnessed decades of transformation in the local real estate market.
Michael was attracted to entrepreneurship from a young age, and began producing cultural events in the music and entertainment industries, including concerts and film festivals, early in his career. One of his ventures in the hospitality industry is a successful event consulting company currently in its 8th year, which Michael co-owns and continues to help manage. A love for people and a flare for entrepreneurship have not only benefited Michael as a business person, but have brought him a rich and diverse personal and professional network as well.
Michael is proud to be from Vancouver and feels a deep love for the area, as well as a longstanding fascination with the Lower Mainland’s dynamic and exciting real estate market. Above all, his social nature and love of meeting new people and helping them accomplish their dreams are what attracted Michael to the real estate profession.
Michael Alcantara is married and lives in the River District with his wife and two wonderful kids. When he is not working in real estate, he loves spending time with his kids, travelling with them, and experiencing different cultures, especially since he is an avid history buff. Michael also spends some of his free time volunteering with his local Neighbourhood Block Watch.
